The aim of this project was to reimagine the painting 'Ophelia' by Sir John Everett Millais. The painting was deconstructed into its sixteen symbolisms, most of which are flowers as depicted from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Act IV, Scene vii. The final outcomes were perfume bottles of different shapes and forms that were created using simple to complicated generative rules using the basic characters of each of the symbolism. Each layer can be rotated, wherein the viewer creates a bespoke dynamic object.
‘ZAM’ is a cultural organisation that pioneers design and innovative practices within smart urban living. Its focus is on the cultivation and consumption of food, championing product designs and lifestyles that helps in the proliferation of urban farming/gardening and the adaptation of entomophagy (the practice of eating insects). The brand uses a bespoke typography for its dynamic identity called 'New Babylon'.
A moving image project about a new series based on Al Gore's best selling book 'The Future'. My perspective on the brief was to give emphasis on 'Man' as the root of all six critical drivers of change. I have adapted a sensory bin idea, where I have created six different scenes relating to each driver.
